  My first expedition journey! Mountaineer above all, I discovered navigation with Erwan in Brittany on the Pen Duick 600. Immediately it felt good. Me, the tough skipper, I like life on board, the human relations that hold us together, with a lot of parallels with mountain activities, traveling with the elements: water and wind. This journey was an initiation. 45 days of sharing, 45 days of warped time, perfect for enjoying the present moment.

  Since this journey in Greenland, my life has changed. I have discovered Adventure, where you can only count on yourself and your expedition partners. I love nature and human relations. With Erwan I have been spoiled: an incredible and unique moment, an experience that helps me every day in my activities.

  When Erwan proposed me to leave for Greenland I was at once motivated to go. I wanted to see this part of the world unknown to me, take part in a nice adventure with Maewan, and also support Erwan in a stage of his project. I did not know what to expect, what was going to be possible or not, or what we were going to live. The very first hours set the tone, and the journey was like no other. A total immersion amongst icebergs, little or not explored fjords, alone in the world.

  • Personal recordThree times world champion in climbing in 1996, 1998 and 2000. Twice senior world-champion of climbing in 1997, 1999. In 2000, first French to climb 8c+ “El Cap à bout de bras” or the crazy project to bring a friend with a disability with me to climb El Capitan in 2013. In 2017-2018: ascending all 4000s in the Alps, sometimes on ski, sometimes paragliding, without taking any lift. This has given birth to the documentary “Liv Along The Way”, which has been screened at many festivals.
